This has been a busy year - as most years seem to be now - but what with the publication of 'The Ark Builders' and attending to everything that goes with a new title coming out, I've been on the go since October. Next year promises readings and some lectures, with plenty of things in the diary already, including a reading at the Sean Dunne Poetry Festival in Waterford. I've always admired the late SD's poetry so am more than happy to participate in this successful annual festival.
Other events include the Ledbury Festival in England, a workshop in Biarritz and a Patrick Kavanagh August Bank Holiday Weekend Poetry Workshop in Iniskeen, which is in my richly-wooded, hill and vale home county of Monaghan (or the ancient land of Oriel, as I sometimes think of it). Check out some of the links on my site . . . there's plenty of material for people who respond to art as well as writing. More next month!
